Worship & Prayer
We are a worshipful, diverse, friendly and welcoming community. We know that we all seek to worship in different ways and at different times, so we have a range of services to help you and your family fit worship into your week.
There is something for everybody at all of our services and both children and adults are welcome to join us. Why not come along to one of our services and try us out for yourself?
Read on to find out more about our Sunday, weekday and evening services. Displayed to the right, you can also find a list of services planned for the current month. These are also available to view on our Facebook and Twitter pages.
If you are looking for some peace and quiet, you might want to try our Meditation Group which meets from 8-9pm on Monday evenings in church (next meeting Monday 2nd September). Join us for an hour of meditation, silence, prayer and reflection – all welcome!
Sunday is the busiest day of the week at St Paul’s. We meet together to worship and pray at a variety of services. These include:
- Holy Communion Service
8am – A short, quiet service on the second Sunday of the month.
- Worship Service with Holy Communion
9.45am – Our main act of worship, followed by refreshments afterwards. This is an all-age service with groups and activities for children and a mixture of traditional and modern hymns and songs.
- Sunday Together Service
9.45am – Sunday Together is a more informal all-age worship service held on the second Sunday of the month.
- Sunday Xtra Service
11.30am – A short, informal act of contemporary worship, teaching and prayer. Meet friends, make new friends and hear about God in a relaxed atmosphere, whilst enjoying tea, coffee and biscuits.
Make time for worship during the week and join us at one of our services or prayer sessions.
- Tuesday Morning Prayer
8.45am – Entrance via the vestry door (not during August).
- Wednesday Holy Communion
