Sunday Worship Services

Sunday 1st May

  • 10am – Worship Service with Holy Communion (live streamed)
  • 11.30am – Sunday Xtra with Baptisms

Join us for Holy Communion or our more informal Sunday Xtra service with baptisms this Sunday. Chris Clough will be leading our Worship Service with Holy Communion, with Brian Greenfield presiding and preaching. Mike Wragg leads Sunday Xtra today.

Sunday 8th May

  • 10am – Worship Service with Holy Communion (live streamed)

Join us in church or online for our Worship Service with Holy Communion, with Chris Clough leading and preaching, and John Butler presiding.

Sunday 15th May

  • 10am – Worship Service with Holy Communion (live streamed)
  • 11.30am – Sunday Xtra

Join us for Holy Communion or our family-friendly Sunday Xtra service today. Sue Lawrence will be leading our Worship Service with Holy Communion, with John Butler presiding and preaching. Sue Lawrence also leads Sunday Xtra today. Our services today focus on Christian Aid Week: seven days of fundraising, prayer and action against global poverty, to transform the lives of people around the world. Sunday 22nd May

  • 10am – Worship Service with Holy Communion (live streamed)

Join is in church or online for our Worship Service with Holy Communion this Sunday, which will be followed by our Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM). Sue Lawrence will be leading this service, with Brian Greenfield presiding and preaching. Today’s service also introduces Thy Kingdom Come: the global wave of prayer calling all Christians to pray between Ascension and Pentecost for more people to come to know the love and peace of Jesus Christ. Sunday 29th May

  • 10am – Worship Service with Holy Communion (live streamed)

Join is in church or online for our Worship Service with Holy Communion this Sunday, with John Butler leading and presiding, and Mark Allison preaching.

Weekday Worship Services

Thursday 26th May

  • 6.30pm – Ascension Day Holy Communion Service (live streamed)

John Butler will be leading and presiding at our Ascension Day service, with Chris Clough preaching.

Wednesday Holy Communion

10am – A short, quiet and friendly service on Wednesday mornings throughout the year, followed by refreshments at 10.30am.

Prayer Meetings

An Hour of Prayer

10am – Join us for an hour of prayer on Tuesday mornings (not held on the last Tuesday of the month).

An Evening of Prayer

7.30pm – Join us for an evening of prayer on the last Tuesday of the month.

Welsh Hymn Singing Festival / Cymanfa Ganu

  • Saturday 14th May, 2-4pm

Come along to St Paul’s for Cymanfa Ganu – the Yorkshire & North-East of England Welsh Hymn Singing Festival! The Cymanfa Ganu is an afternoon of hymn singing, mostly in the Welsh language, with associated bi-lingual prayers, readings from the Bible and commentary on the origin of the various hymns. The congregation participates in the worship and there will also be the opportunity to remember departed friends, family and neighbours. This is a free event, open to all, with a collection taken during the service, for the support of the Cymanfa Ganu in the future. Tea and coffee will be served following the service. All welcome!
