Sunday Services – 19/12/21

This Sunday, the fourth Sunday in Advent, we have two worship services for you to choose from. We will hold our Worship Service with Holy Communion in the church building at 10am (doors open from 9.30am), which will also be live streamed via our YouTube channel (see below). Chris Clough will be leading today’s service, with Brian Greenfield presiding and preaching. The readings for this service will be: Micah 5:2-5a and Luke 1: 39-55. This will be followed by our more relaxed and family-friendly Sunday Xtra Christmas Service, led by Mark Allison, which takes place at 11.30am. This service will not be live streamed, so do join us in church if you can!

Our Christmas Carol Service takes place at 6pm on Sunday evening and will also be live streamed via our YouTube channel (see below). Places at this service are now fully booked, so please join us online if you haven’t booked a place in church.

Advent Prayer

A prayer as we light the fourth candle of our Advent wreath

A candle burns, the sign of your love.

God of Mary, come to us again this Advent.

May we gladly respond to your call,

and trust that you are Emmanuel, God with us.

God, give us light, give us hope.
