Many of you have already heard that Church of England churches are putting public worship on hold and will become a “different sort of church” in the coming months to face the challenge of Coronavirus. This means that our usual public services on Sundays and Wednesdays will not be happening at St Paul’s Church for the time being. All other gatherings, groups and events have also been suspended.
This also means that we can no longer accept Foodbank and school uniform donations. You can, however, donate money directly to the Bradford North Foodbank online. Please keep all school uniform donations until we reopen. For those in need of an emergency Foodbank parcel, please telephone or email our vicar, Henriette Howarth, on Mondays or Thursdays for a referral to the Foodbank.
We are still a church together, even when we can’t meet physically, and we encourage you all to look out for one another. Feel free to get in touch via the website, e-mail or phone with any pastoral needs, prayer requests, queries or suggestions.
We will continue to publish updates on our website, as well as a weekly blogpost with details of our online worship services via our YouTube channel. For those on our mailing list, an e-mail containing this information will be sent out on Fridays. To join the mailing list, please get in touch via the Contact Us page.
A PRAYER FOR ALL THOSE AFFECTED BY CORONAVIRUS
Keep us, good God,
under the shadow of your mercy.
Sustain and support the anxious,
be with those who care for the sick,
and lift up all who are brought low;
that we may find comfort
knowing that nothing can separate us from your love
in Christ Jesus. Amen
Blessings from the leadership team at St Paul’s Church
