Concert raises £359.24 for The Cellar Trust!

We are thrilled to announce that our recent concert, ‘This is Me’, held on Sunday 12th May in aid of Mental Health Awareness Week, has raised an amazing £359.24 for local mental health charity The Cellar Trust. A big round of applause to all involved and to all who came along to show their support. We are especially proud of the St Paul’s Church Junior Choir who put on such a fantastic performance under the expert leadership of Junior Choir Leader, Rachel Hesselwood.

It was wonderful to have a representative from The Cellar Trust with us, who talked to us about the charity and how they support people recovering from mental health problems, as well as residents from Formations Care Home in Shipley, with whom we have formed an ongoing inter-generational partnership.

During Mental Health Awareness Week, we, at St Paul’s, are very aware of the people within our community who are affected by mental health issues – either directly, or indirectly, and we do everything that we can to support and pray for them.

Look out for details of our next concert and, in the meantime, we hope you enjoy these photographs and video clips from the day, kindly supplied to us by Formations Care Home.

New members are always welcome to join the St Paul’s Church Choir. Follow the links for more information about Junior Choir and Choir (adults).
