About us

Welcome to St. Paul’s Shipley! We are the original parish church of Shipley: the church was built in 1826 and we have been worshipping and serving the community in the same building ever since.

Our congregation has a wide age-range, trusting in the One God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We seek to:

  • worship the living God,
  • love our neighbours and our world,
  • be a welcoming Christian community.

You are welcome to join us at any of our services or other events in the Church: please use the menus above to find out more about us. You can also contact us for further information.

Welcome to our new vicar: Henriette Howarth

We are delighted to welcome Henriette Howarth as our new Vicar. Henriette will be officially installed as the vicar of St Paul’s in a welcome service on 13th May at 3pm. This is a public service so people from the community are most welcome to attend. Our beautiful choir will be singing and the Bishop of Leeds, Nick Baines will lead the official part of the service.
